The lumberjack sport grew out of fierce but friendly competition between men who made there livelihood using the handtools of a bygone era. International Lumberjack Shows brings the competion to your audience and invites their participation. Professional competitors race one another 80 feet up the climbing tree to ring the bell and return to the ground in a two way speed climb. They splash and kick water in their opponents face in the log rolling, and they cut through huge logs with 6 pound razor sharp axes and 2-man crosscut saws. The audience is invited to make an attempt at staying on the rolling log, or to be a model for the MC as she recites "Logger Poetry". The performers dress in the traditional red and black plaid of the lumberjack,and present clean-cut family entertainment.
