In the short time of his studies as am autodidact (self-taught) musician, Alexander has performed professionaly as a cocktail pianist in multiple Latin-rock bands, R&B groups, psychedelic rock bands, straight-ahead jazz configurations, swing jazz big bands, Afro-Cuban ensembles, classical/chamber ensembles as well as composing and performing his own original jazz-fusion oriented group (Unidentified Fusion Orangement).

People of note Alexander has performed with include Peter Sprague (Chick Corea), Fred Benedetti (Andres Segovia), Derek Cannon (Pharoh Sanders), Gilbert Castellanos (Dizzy Gillespie), as well as brief encounters with George Duke, Chick Corea, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Dweezil Zappa, and David Ehle (Hiromi Uehara, Wes Montgomery).

Alexander was recently appointed an international ambassador of jazz from the American Funk and Brass Association, and is currently studying music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, as well as developing his original compositions for his jazz fusion group Unidentified Fusion Orangement.
