We are Portland's Quality Bop Incorporated, or pqb INC. We are a Jazz Trio/Quartet composed of bass, drums, sax/flute and guitar. Our repertoire is vast and dense ranging from old standards to the newest most advanced music on the planet. We can play quiet or loud, slow or fast, but we cannot not be funky. We are all masters of the genre and our instruments and perform with a deep reverence for the audience, venue and the music. We are a protean group able to learn and arrange new songs with haste and accuracy. We have a residency at the food cart pod on 23rd and Alberta and play for Captured By Porches, the Cheese Plate, Retrolicious, and Fiji Indian Curry every Sunday from 2-4.
