A New Orleans 2nd Line Brass band based out of Seattle, WA, Tubaluba is just the grease you need to shake what yo mama gave ya. Tubaluba brings vocals, piano, drums, and a mess of horns to the party, serving up New Orleans classics with second line-ified R&B tunes and booty-shaking originals. Funk yeah! Tubaluba influences: Rebirth Brass band, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, bourbon, hot sauce, sweet potato pie. Available for parties, festivals, corporate events, weddings, and parades.

Our music was born from brass, forged in the hips, tempered with a dose of New Orleans tradition, and cultivated in the artistic fusion reactors of Seattle. We pull songs right out of your soul and play them for your body. We sing and we dance, wear costumes, and laugh. Ain't nothin' wrong.

We play stuff everybody likes to sing. We write music to suit our festive outlook. We pay reverent tribute to the folks who come to us for a visceral celebration. It ain't nothin' but a party, after all! We are synonymous with brass band in the Pacific Northwest and we're looking East with eager anticipation.
