The Boardinghouse Band is a unique blend of pop,rock and Americana. Our music appeals to young and old alike. Front man Glen Lystne has opened for the likes of Men at Work, Eric Burden and the New Animals, Loverboy, Johnny Rivers, Larry Carlton and even local favorites The Fenians and The Young Dubliners. The five experienced musicians can entertain a private party of 30 to 40 people, a group as large as 300 to 400 people as we have at the House of Blues or an “acoustic” event such as a wedding or a wine tasting. Recent shows include the world famous Coach House, Orange County Fair, City of La Palma and Costa Mesa “Concerts in the Park”,Orange International Street Fair and many private events.

We play a variety of styles but mostly classic rock, Americana style. We play covers and originals. Our instrumentation includes acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, keyboards, accordion, drums and bass.
