Christina Piscitelli
Christina Piscitelli received an Associate in Art (Applied Music) from Dean Junior College and her BFA in dance from Emerson College. She began teaching dance, movement, and theater in 1981. Chris teaches dance residencies for Mass Movement, Inc. and Young audiences of Massachusetts. She also teaches theater workshops and residencies.
In 2010 she received a grant from the Wareham Cultural Council to teach a dance residency for the Boys and Girls Club of Wareham, Ma. She directs a summer dance program known as “Reach”, which is housed at Boston University. For seven seasons she was choreographer for The Freelance Players and Freelance Troupe. From 2002 to 2010 she choreographed the musicals for the Charles River School.
Chris has performed with Dance Collective, American Dance Heritage, MJT/Tslila Dance Company, and Choreo. Chris has been performing at King Richard's Faire since 1993 as a Gypsy Dancer and had an original, self written show there for two years called "The Village Gossips". She was on a national tour with Disney Radio, acting in a show entitled "Magic Carpet time Tour". She was also on a national tour performing in full body character costumes for PBS, Hasbro Toys, and Mattel Toys. Chris has acted in numerous shows for school children.
Christina has been on TV and in film. She recently did some work on the movie "Here Comes the Boom" starring Kevin James. She has also performed with a dance company, during half-time with M.L.Carr. Chris has appeared in a few independent films
Christina also works with production companies doing promotional work, corporate shows, team building events, public shows, comic improvisation, interactive theater and murder mysteries.
She is very comedic and wins over the audiences every time she performs. Christina is always early for rehearsal and call times. She is very professional and lends a helping hand to other performers when needed.
