Jimmy McConnell hails from Louisiana, the birthplace of Jazz. He spent most of his adult life in Kansas City, the city that claims some of the greatest jazz musicians that ever lived - Charlie Parker, Ben Webster, Coleman Hawkins etc. Jimmy 's Performance and Recording credits include: Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Band, Jack McDuff, Michael Jackson & The Jackson 5, Arthur Prysock, B.B.
