The Howard Britz Trio, is a classic Jazz combo of piano, upright bass and drums. We have a large repertoire of songs from the great American Songbook of Jazz standards, songs from the shows, Brazilian and Latin music. Songs like, 'Take The A Train' and 'Satin Doll' by Duke Ellington, 'They Can't Take That Away From Me' and 'Our Love is Here To Stay' by George Gershwin' and songs from the shows and movies like 'Days of Wine and Roses', 'Misty', 'If I Were A Bell' (from Guys and Dolls.) Swinging, good time songs and ballads made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Doris Day, Miles Davis, Errol Garner & Nat King Cole along with smooth Brazilian evergreens like, 'Corcovado' and 'Quiet Nights' by Antonio Carlos Jobim. The trio plays all these with taste, foot tapping swing and style.

Howard Britz has played and recorded with some of the greats of Jazz and Latin music including, 'Jon Hendricks and Annie Ross, Kenny Werner, Paquito D'Rivera, Danilo Perez and many more. He is a graduate of New England Conservatory of Music and has released three well received CDs of his own music. He plays both in the tri-state area and internationally
