The Caldo Quartet is one of Seattle's newest and most exciting jazz groups, offering unique arrangements of jazz standards and contemporary hits with a jazz sensibility.

From traditional jazz standards perfect for an evening of romantic dancing and dining, to funky and soulful grooves sure to get you up on your feet, the tasteful jazz stylings of the Caldo Quartet offer something for everyone.

The Caldo Quartet's musicians are well seasoned and professional. Mosby Cogswell provides sultry jazz vocals that she has honed over 15 years singing with jazz groups, including BlueStreet Voices and The Black Lab Trio. Most recently she has played gigs at Silver Lake Winery, Lakeside Bistro, El Gaucho, The Triple Door, Tula's, and Benaroya Hall. Tony Sodano on bass is a band teacher at Garfield High School, which boasts numerous awards for its outstanding jazz and marching bands. When Tony is not directing bands he is a professional bass player on with Celebrity Cruises. Our guitarist and drummer are recent transplants to Seattle. Our guitarist, Chris Hyde, recently moved to Seattle from Tulsa, where he was a full time musician and guitar teacher. He continues this work in Seattle, teaching guitar and playing solo and with the Seattle band Eli/Porter. Josh Schusterman recently moved to Seattle from Texas, where he was a professional drummer and percussion teacher. Since moving to Seattle he has been extremely busy as a full time drummer with groups such as The Fortune Dwellers and Eli/Porter.
