Gerald J
Gerald J is one of New York's rising stars. Beginning as a regular extra on MMC (The Mickey Mouse Club) at the age of 13, Gerald considers himself as “the forgotten mouseketeer.” Gerald spent 6 years as the lead male singer/trumpeter for New York cover band, “Platinum.” During his wedding singing days, Gerald made it to the top 100 finalists during New York auditions for American Idol Season II. He won Paula over but Simon wasn't ready for him. Gerald was not ready for Simon either. After coming in 2nd place for Showtime at the Apollo on Tour in 2003, and first runner up for “Staten Idol”- a singing competition base on American Idol in Staten Island, Gerald decided to stop focusing on competitions and focus on the stage.
Gerald has headlined numerous shows around NYC in famous venues such as Wings Theatre, the Stonewall Inn, Don't Tell Mama and Broadway Comedy Club. The sensational crooner also performs at major events around the tri-state area and is available for private events such as weddings and benefits. Gerald's voice and artistry style can be compared to Michael Buble, Josh Groban and Elvis Presley. Gerald loves to serenade and entertain audiences and doesn't plan on ever stopping.
