Wow! What a gem! I saw these guys (and gal) play live at a tiny little local club. I couldn't believe how great they were. Awesome cool Jazz tunes from way back, with a healthy dash of hip tossed in. I regretted not getting a CD at the gig, but was VERY pleased to find it here! The CD did not disappoint! In fact it's one of those rare gems in the ol' CD collection that is great on first listen, but gets even better with repeated listening.
I never appreciated jazz until Dead Ringer., June 15, 2009

Kathleen Frasca's velvet voice pulls you into the music, and before you realize it, you're a jazz fan. This, Dead Ringer's follow up to "Atomic Cocktail", demonstrates the group's diversity and dedication to their art. Musically, it involves your mind on several levels, and emotionally, it's simple and sweet. It's also building the group's fan club up here in Seattle! Dad and I will be flying down to California to see these guys, soon!
These Ambassadors of Lounge really Swing!, June 13, 2001

This second release from Dead Ringer is perfectly WOW! It has much more of a 60's flavor than their first release "Atomic Cocktail". The band sounds great and Kathleen's vocals are the icing on the cake! Great material from and great L.A. Lounge band. I love it!
