Chicago OGD is Darryl Armistead on the Hammond B-3 organ and vocals, Barry White on guitar, and Brian McGrew on drums. OGD is a jazz acronym for an organ trio consisting of organ, guitar and drums. This band exemplifies the soulful, funky, hard bop sound of Philly organ jazz made famous by Jimmy Smith, "Brother" Jack McDuff, and Joey DeFrancesco.

Chicago OGD covers standard jazz to today's smooth jazz, and includes today's dance music as well as the blues. Don't be fooled by imitations! This is real thing, complete with the spinning Leslie organ speaker, an authentic B-3 organ, and musicians who have lived a lifetime of jazz and the blues.
