Corey Burke began performing magic at the young age of 5, after seeing the amazing Doug Henning perform live. He would learn little magic tricks with rubber bands, coins, and even how to remove his own thumb. His love for magic began to grow and took on a new shape at the age of 13 when he picked up a copy of the Mark Wilson Course in Magic. He began to “entertain” his friends and family and even discovered the three magic words to clear a room. “Pick a card.” By the age of 17 Corey's interest in magic became his passion and thanks to a school project he began to perform magic for private parties. After his first show he realized that this was an incredibly fun way to make some money and thus began his part-time career as a Professional magician. Four years passed and Corey continued to perform at formal events, intimate gatherings and local restaurants, when one day he decided that this is what he wanted to do for a living. He quit his job as an Engineer and starting working at Callin Novelties (the magic shop he used to visit as a little boy.) Within a few months he had secured three different restaurants and two country clubs and was having a great time performing for a living. Always working on new and original material for his acts he decided that he wanted to put out an instructional DVD with a few of his effects and sell them to other magicians. His magic is visual and entertaining and can be found in the homes of other magicians world-wide.
