"The Marla and Richard Show" is best described as an upbeat, upscale, cabaret/lounge act that is appropriate for a variety of venues. We have performed at clubs, restaurants, corporate events, private parties, festivals and retirement facilities. Our act includes a mixture of song styles from standards and swing to adult contemporary, pop and R&B. One of the unique crowd pleasing aspects of our show is the duets which are peppered throughout our act. On many occasions audience members have complimented us on our solos, but noted the magical and inspirational quality of our duets. The upbeat nature of our song repertoire consistently has people's heads bopping in their seats while eating and drinking and eventually jumping up to dance.

Although shows can be tailored for any occasion or preference, we usually begin with standards and swing tunes, giving us a classic Las Vegas style appeal. But as the show continues and the audience relaxes into the act, we add the more contemporary, upbeat material that transitions us into the modern era. This format has proved extremely successful for us and allows the audience to socialize with drinks, hors d'oeuvres and/or dinner before becoming inspired to dance to their favorite contemporary tunes.
