Tradition is a five- piece band from greater Boston. The band plays all styles of Irish music, as well as classic rock, country and folk. Tradition is particularly suited for weddings, festivals, Irish dances and corporate functions. The group has been together for 18 years and our members have a combined 100 years of experience in various musical genres.

If you are planning a wedding or function, Tradition can handle all your musical needs. Tradition ideally suited for wedding receptions but is equally adept at providing music for ceremonies, cocktail receptions, and parties with a variety of vocal and instrumental line-ups. We have the most diverse repertoire in the business. Whether it be the Traditional music of Ireland, country, folk, blues, jazz or the music of South India, Tradition has it covered.

We have played everywhere from the Irish Connections Festival to the House of Blues. Everyone says the same thing. “How do you guys play so many different types of music” There is a musical surprise around every corner with Tradition.

Great vocalists, and instrumentalists as well as the areas only band with a Hammond organ (complete with Leslie cabinet). Combine this with outstanding professionalism, attention to detail and a healthy dose of fun and you have the makings of musical experience that your guests will rave about long after the last note has faded.
