Diablo Rhythm Wranglers
Misbehavin is the sound of rootsy blues and jazz with the bounce of swing and croon of country. These three musicians put together a lively and intimate show with style and class. Performing such jazz standards as Georgia and Summertime to more upbeat classics as Choo Choo Cha Boogie and Tuxedo Junction, Misbehavin show a tight rhythmic sensibility to this and other genres. They can be light and humorous with tunes like Lyle Lovett's' She's No Lady or the western swing classic Smoke That Cigarette or tear it up with a rockin' version of Smack Dab In The Middle or the bluesy I Used To Be Your Rooster.
Misbehavin is Mike Stenberg on guitar and vocals, Lyle Lawrence on upright bass and Maria Murillo on violin. Mike brings a vocal style and roots feel that when blended with the jazz bass lines of Lyle and the melodic phrasing of Maria's violin distill into a wonderful cross section of eclectic American music.
Give ‘em a listen, they are the real deal.
