DESCRIPTION/BIO:

Born in Slovenia in 1986, Urban began composing and playing the piano at the age of 8. He was a quick study with a deep appreciation for classical composers like Bach, Mozart and Chopin among others. Although a gifted student in mathematics and philosophy, Urban's first love has always been music.

Urban has studied music theory and composition at one of Slovenia's music schools. It was here where he learned to play bass, guitar, drums and took vocal lessons. He is well versed in composing and performing Rock and Roll, Jazz and Classical music. In high school he formed a rock band called Lucid Dreams and played many shows in both small and large venues alike, opening for Slovenia's most popular rock bands.

Upon arriving in the US, he was approached by a Director to score the soundtrack to a movie. Urban rose to the challenge and completed the movie score in record time. Unfortunately, the movie never made it to the big screen, but Urban had now gained experience in another genre.

To date, Urban has composed over 400 songs. He is a talented versatile piano player and musician. Since arriving in Los Angeles in 2005, Urban has played piano and sang at private parties and public events. He is an intelligent young man with a maturity and discipline far beyond his years.

Urban is skilled at classical, jazz, oldies, all Beatles and Elton John songs and Top 40. The list of songs below is only a partial list.
