The Bohemians
The Bohemians are California's foremost jazz and swing quartet. They have been acclaimed by critics as reminiscent of the famous Quintet of the Hot Club of France which features such legendary musicians as Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.
Violinist Vincent Houser (aka Art Deco), along with acoustic guitarists Dr. Joe Jewell and Jack Majdecki and bassist Randy Landas, are known for their brilliant improvisations, and swinging rhythms.
The quartet is versatile. They are perfect for a cocktail hour or even an entire party. The Bohemian's vast variety of music can fit very well into most party themes.
Their much anticipated album "The Bohemians" has just been released. It features such exciting musical selections as "Caravan," "Nuages," "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing," as well as the tango "Por Una Cabeza." It includes many other selections as well as two original compositions by Randy Landas and Jack Majdecki.
