Motter Snell - Harpist
Looking for that special touch to set off your next social event?
Whether you're planning a family gathering, professional reception, business banquet, or conference hospitality suite, the delightful but unobtrusive strains of harp music will create a unique ambience and memorable experience for your guests.
Consider, then, the distinctive tones of the classical harp played with skill and flair by Motter Snell, one of the acknowledged master harpists in the Pacific Northwest.
Ms. Motter Snell fell in love with the harp at the age of 12 and has been refining her skills and styles ever since. Motter earned her music degree in the harp at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she has played professionally for more than 25 years.
Motter's classical resume includes symphony and concert performances under the batons of Gerard Schwartz, Herman Michel, Robert Shaw, Henry Holt, and Milton Katims. She has also accompanied such diverse pop stars as Linda Ronstadt, Crystal Gale, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Bernadette Peters, and Shari Lewis, and played solo or with small ensembles at hundreds of private events.
Motter is available for engagements in the metropolitan Puget Sound area and on Hawaii's “Big Island,” where she and her husband, architect Chris Snell, tend a small coffee farm.
