Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, D.T.O is a versatile show/party band featuring all-star local musicians destined to entertain. D.T.O will make you move with a high energy, action packed performance. In its standard configuration, D.T.O. is an 8-piece band featuring drums, keyboards, bass, guitar, horns, and a dynamic front line of singers. However, D.T.O. can be customized to your needs. Additional musicians and DJs play with the band from time to time or are added based on the needs of your event. D.T.O primarily showcases R&B/soul, funk, Motown and Earth, Wind & Fire grooves but D.T.O. also plays hits from the 50's to the present including disco, blues, jazz and standards. D.T.O was formed with veteran players having an average of 30 years of professional experience. Some of our musicians have played with seasoned performers as ConFunkShun featuring Michael Cooper & Felton Pilate, Mic Gillette & Skip Mesquite(Tower of Power), Terry Bradford(Celine Dion, Rickey Martin, Tyrese, Dave Koz), Skip Martin(Dazz Band & Kool & the Gang), Tom Poole(Malo & Etta James), Milli Vanilli. Some of our musicians have also shared the main billing with acts such as Kem, India Arie, The Isley Brothers, Floetry, Lakeside, Rose Royce, SOS band, Jon B., Naughty by Nature, DaBrat, The Brothers Johnson, the Gap Band, Cameo, Pete Escovedo, Ray Obiedo, Roger Glenn, Morris Day & The Time, MC Hammer, Tierra, Billy Paul, Hiroshima to name a few. Not only are the band members musically diverse, but the band's exciting front line and spectacular back line are culturally diverse as well. D.T.O. relates to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
