Anders Vercelli is a jazz pianist with a stunning repertoire of standards and tunes from the Great American Songbook. Anders will enhance your event with the elegance of live jazz piano. It's not esoteric or academic jazz, but wonderful jazz standards written by the masters of American Popular Song. Whatever the occasion, Anders promises musical energy to make your event magical.

Anders grew up on Block Island during the summer and got a steady gig playing piano at the movie theater in town when he was 16, performing nightly at the grand piano onstage prior to the start of the movies. One night, a couple saw him perform and asked Anders to play piano at their wedding reception at the Spring House on Block Island. Anders went on to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music under the tutelage of Bob Winter, the principal pianist for the Boston Pops since 1980.

Anders graduated from Berklee in 2005 with a degree in Songwriting. Anders is available for hire as a solo pianist, jazz duo, trio, or quartet.
