The Pacific Winds Quintet was founded in 1992 by members of the Skagit Symphony Orchestra. The group has since performed widely throughout the Pacific Northwest and is a popular choice for weddings, private parties and gala events, as well as formal concert appearances. Their repertoire spans a wide variety of styles, from classical to ragtime and light jazz. The ensemble has mastered the standards of the classical quintet repertoire, as well as exloring and presenting the rich contemporary repertoire available for this instrumentation today.
