Sonya Kaye
Sonya has participated in a number of community events including 2 performances of the National Anthem for Seattle Supersonics games, community Christmas tree lightings, music for city parks events, and holiday favorite in local malls. She has also performed along with internationally recognized jazz vocalist, Jonathan Butler, at Jazz Alley in Seattle. Most recently, Sonya was the featured soloist for the Washington State Governor's Prayer Breakfast. Sonya Kaye and her band are schedule as the main attraction in Paris, France for the 9th annual USA Gospel Festival on June 27th, 2000.
Sonya's bass player and producer, Marc Miller, has also played along side several well-known artists including Jonathan Butler, Anita Baker and many more. You can hear Marc on Philip Bailey's CD latest release, "Dreams". Her piano player, Eric Verlinde played in the opening jazz quartet for the incomparable Natalie Cole and just recently took top honors in piano at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. Dave Del Zotto, Sonya's drummer has played for the talented Diane Schuur and also jazz artist Don Lanphere. Among other talented artists, Sonya's guitar player, Art Bromage, has played for the popular Christian producer, Stan Endicott.
