Pan Loco Steel Band
Pan Loco Steel Band has been bringing the sweet sounds of the Caribbean to New England since 1991. We are an authentic, mixed ethnic ensemble consisting of two steel drummers, an electric bass player, and an electronic or acoustic percussionist. We perform year-round at formal and informal venues including weddings, parties, corporate functions, boat cruises, college dances and festivals. Pan Loco also performs a special assembly program for school children.
In business for 19 years, we have performed at more than 1,000 events, all the while, earning a solid and trusted reputation as polished professionals who have the appropriate look, feel, sound and attitude you expect for your event. We also love what we do . . . and this will be obvious!
The talented musicians in Pan Loco hail from Berklee College and the University of New Hampshire, and have been performing all types of music in the New England area for many years.
We have our act down pat, and the repertoire is authentic and appropriate for all ages. You won't hear top 40 songs or elevator music. Pan Loco will bring calypso, reggae and island music from the Caribbean direct to your doorstep. When you hear this music, you'll feel like you're on a slow boat to Saint Thomas -- It's the real thing!
Pan Loco Steel Band is available for all occasions including weddings, parades, private parties, school assemblies, boat cruises, college dances, festivals and corporate events.
